Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- In this form, you must fill in the information for the first applicant. Attach the proof of such change of address or other details.

If applicants do not have evidence of a change in address, the applicant can sign the form to the people listed below.
- Gazetted Officer - Group A
- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
- Gazetted Officer - Group B
- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
- Tehsildar
- Head of Recognized Education Institution
- Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution

- Then You have to visit the closest Aadhaar Center along with this document to apply for changes in address and you may also apply online for the address change by submitting your Aadhaar number via this link - Address Change Link
UIDAI permits cardholders with Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documentation. Aadhaar cardholders were allowed to change their address if they had not presented an identity proof.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily halted a vital facility which lets you change your Aadhaar card's address, without documentary proof of address.
UIDAI allows holders of Aadhaar cards to change their address without the need for any documents. Aadhaar card holders are able to update their address only if they have consented to the verification that the address verifyer. A verifier of address could be a relative, friend or landlord who will permit the Aadhaar card owner to use their address to prove their identity.
UIDAI has now stopped this feature. UIDAI addressed an Aadhaar Card owner via Twitter, stating that it is no longer possible to update the address on Aadhaar Card by submitting an Address Validation Letter was removed. UIDAI has asked that the Aadhaar Issuers to inform users that they can change their address using a acceptable PoA document.

UIDAI lists the following documents as POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that include Name and Address for Aadhaar cards
Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not more than 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
Check your Credit Card Balance (not more than 3 years old).
Signature letter and photo from Registered company on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Travel documents of parents (in the case of minors)
Central/ State Govt. Initiated an allotment to accommodate. (Not exceeding 3 years)
Bhamashah card/Jan Aadhaar issued by Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendentor Wardenor Matron/ Head of Institution of recognized shelter houses orphanages, etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
